e al settimo giorno, il Gava si riposò. Scherzo, magari ci si potesse riposare un po', ma il relax non è cosa per noi ciclisti, così anche oggi 200 km di tappa.

Ho accusato effettivamente un poco le fatiche della fuga di ieri, soprattutto nella prima parte di gara quando il gruppo ha viaggiato a una velocità media di 53 km/h nella prima ora: sembrava dovessero tutti andare a prendere un treno per il quale erano in ritardo.

La fuga buona è nata dopo 80 km e oggi non ho proprio avuto le forze per unirmi alla compagnia. Bravo invece Burghardt, il quale è andato all'attacco per poi involarsi verso il suo secondo successo qui al Giro di Svizzera.

Stasera sono un po' triste, visto che si è ritirato dalla corsa il mio compagno di stanza Matteo Bono: il dolore che avverte al tendine di Achille lo ha costretto a fermarsi durante la tappa (io ho pensato che forse era solo troppo stanco, non ditelo in giro però!). Stasera sarà ancora con me in stanza, ma domani notte mi toccherà dormire tutto solo!

and in the seventh day, Gava rested in relax. I wish it could have been so, since relax it's not for cyclists.

Today, in fact, another 200 km stage, the first part of which characterized by the brillant idea by many riders of covering the first hour or race at 53 km/h of average speed.

I was a little bit tired because of yesterday breakaway and so I could not join the action of 16 athletes begun at the 8th km: compliments to Burghardt, who then said hello to his breakaway mates and reached lonely the arrival, conquering his second stage victory here in Switzerland.

This evening I'm sad because I'm going to sau goodbye to my room mate Matteo Bono : the pain at achilles tendon was too strong and so he had to quit the race (but I really think that he was only too tired, but I can't tell this). He's going to be with us this night and tomorrow he'll go back home, leave me all alone!
